seems like everything i do is wrong
like she’s godzilla and i’m king kong
and you kids are tokyo

we blame each other for the bad we do
as if our evil is something new
and not just how we roll

she’s an aria and i’m a yodel
the doodle of my noodle does nothing for her kugel

but maybe we can finally get things straight
get those cookies back on the plate
like back when we first started to date
way back when she was nicer
