depending on where you’re coming from, i either make blissful ultra low-budget, anti-establishment stoner propaganda or the worst little movies you’ve ever seen… industry says the latter – still looking for distribution…

i also write and record songs against war, the encroaching police state, and how difficult it is to get happily laid…

i would do all of this under my real name, but there are 7 other jason quinn’s already on imdb, including another bad writer and a professional bass fisherman. my buddy doug suggested a formula for a stage name – “favorite pet – street you live on” – and ‘snoopy green’ seemed just right for making stoner movies…

and why stoner movies? well, besides recognizing my marginal talent is best suited for an indiscriminating audience, the argument against marijuana is ridiculous. it’s good medicine, and it should be cheap and everywhere.

i know this in part because i am an epileptic, and marijuana has stopped my seizures. also, i am a survivor of multiple brain surgeries (embolizations and stereotactic radiosurgeries) to treat a large arteriovenous malformation in my right parietal lobe… basically, they killed off a chunk (~20%) to keep it from popping and killing me… the good news is, i must not have needed it, as i feel just jingles…

my wonderful docs all agree that constant thc & cannabinoids in my system will decrease both the number and severity of future seizures… seems to be working… great for headaches, too…

and, yes, all of you who always thought there was something genuinely wrong with my brain – points for you…

i also enjoy photography, videography (especially birds & live music), politics and baseball…

my wife, Ruriko Yoshino (pacific ’95), and I have been married 20(!) years and have 2 sons, Issei (15) and Kenzo (9). we live in henderson, nv…
